We have been to London many times since 1977 but had never taken the opportunity to explore the rest of the British Isles. As usual the most exciting finds were those unexpected God moments that wowed us.

In London we stayed at the Park Plaza Victoria London Hotel – 239 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London, SW1V 1EQ, UK, +44 333 400 6140 [email protected]. It was centrally located and very comfortable.

Don’t miss the Tower of London and Globe Theatre. Also, seek out Diogenes the Dog, this was such an exciting find! Messina Hof wines in London! We walked to it from our hotel. You can find it at 96 Rodney Rd., London, SE17 1 BG

We love London theater and always book a show while there. This time we saw Back to the Future musical at the Adelphi Theater, Strand, London. What an exciting performance all around us!

Then a lovely walk through St. James park offers peaceful mediation in a large city.

Food and wine are always a focus for us and we find the farther north we go the cleaner, more delicate, and sweeter are the shellfish. Oysterman’s was a fun find with comparison tastings of oysters from England, Ireland and Scotland. To be so close they taste very different.

Historic Canterbury was like stepping back in time and walking with Chaucer himself.

Walk the historic city and enjoy the beautiful gardens.
